Maria was one of the most challenging shows I have worked on. The design included a forced perspective unit I was responsible for from concept to install. The scenery included 3 two sided wagon units, one stair wagon and various flown units.I helped model and plate some of these units then delivered build packages to the shop floor. While the units were being built I assisted the lead carpenter with the team and handled leading some of the more complex assemblies. I oversaw the test fit of all of the wagons and rigging tests of the flown units. I helped plan the logistics of both the scenery and the crew to get to High Point Theater. Durnig the load in process I oversaw all of the rigging and fly aspects and coordinated the stage with the Production Electrician to work as efficiently as we could. I also trained the Fly Operators for the run of the show. Once tech started I led the notes crew on repairs and final touches.
